The Financial Planning Association of the East Bay is honored to announce the Chad V. Perbeck Memorial Scholarship, created in memory of our beloved friend and colleague, Chad Perbeck. Chad was a dedicated advocate for financial education and worked tirelessly to achieve his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He was an active member in the FPA East Bay community, serving proudly on our board for many years.
In his honor, we are establishing an annual $1,000 scholarship for students pursuing their CFP designation. This award will support aspiring financial planners who embody Chad’s passion for education and professional excellence. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and a commitment to financial planning.
